Milima Technologies is a fast growing cybersecurity firm taking lead role in shaping Uganda’s information security sector. Through our work, we are supporting businesses to develop capacity and resilience against the fast growing cyber-threat landscape through innovative, interactive, not-so-boring cybersecurity training programs and rigorous information security audit (Penetration testing) exercises.

We recently launched a training academy; Milima Cyber Academy which is focused on delivering professional certification education in information security in an effort to bridge the looming cybersecurity skills gap in the industry.

  1. Role: Training Associate (Full Time)

We are currently looking out for a young, talented, curious and self-motivated individual to fill up the role of Training Associate to support our training function. The Training Associate will primarily oversee and design success strategies for our training programs to ensure we are meeting industry demands.

Key Skills Required: 

  • You don’t settle for the status-quo
  • You are stubborn, innovative and curious
  • You don’t fear learning new and hard things
  • Vibrant personally with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • You have worked in a training environment before
  • Knowledge of office procedures and general administration
  • Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus
  • Cybersecurity can mean to be complex, general knowledge of ICT but not necessarily a degree in this field would be a huge plus

Academic Qualifications;

Candidates with Bachelor degrees in ICTs, Administration and Education are encouraged to apply.

We are looking out for a young, talented and aggressive individual passionate about technology and seeking to grow a career path in communications to fill up a volunteer role as Communications Intern. If you are bold and always excited about building something new while leveraging on the fast evolving technology landscape, then you are our kind of person. We want you to join our high speed yet fun loving cybersecurity team.

Academic Requirements

A Diploma in a Communications, Design or ICT field.
